my baby is 4 month old he doesn't poop since 4 days.. but he is farting very smelly is it normal ???

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and sbome enzyme preparationshu in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello the breastfed baby will have less waste and can go without passing motion even for a week and the baby is not passing motion even after 7 days then you may check with your doctor and even advise you with the suppository and if required you can apply castor oil and gentle massager baby tummy
