Q.

my baby is 4.6 yr old .she is coughing sinc nov 2022. doc give her budamate 200 inheller. after some time less coughing is there bt now from tomorrow she is coughing more at sleeping time.. what does its cause??

A. it's allergy it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization. when allergies are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine d

A. hello if the child is having cough since more than two month then it may require further medical investigation and it would be better if you can check the same with your doctor and he will be able to guid you better on examination of the same and advisor accordingly
