Q.

my baby is 3 year old now..i know i can give him all foods now..but for healthy diet i want some diet paln for him..pps suggest..if he eats chocolates and biscuits once or twice a week is it ok?

A. Hello! Don't give biscuits or other packed food frequently. You can give paratha+ curd for breakfast, nuts ladoo as mid meal, paneer pulao for lunch, fruit smoothie for snacks and chilla + palak soup for dinner. This is a sample meal plan. Include ragi, seasonal fruits vegetables, different dals and sprouts in your child's meals.

A. School-age kids need foods from all five healthy food groups: vegetables, fruit, grain foods, dairy and protein. Try to limit salty, and sugary foods.
