Q.

my baby is 3 months old ...she is on formula milk as I could not produce milk due to operation.....she takes 720 ml per day which is 90 ml 8 times ....but I have read somewhere that this aged baby shou take atleast 900 ml per day ...... though she is gaining weight and also she is very active .....so is it ok ?

A. Babies require between 150 ml and 200 ml of formula per kg of body weight each day. That is, if a baby weighs 3 kg, it will need between 450 ml and 600 ml of formula per day. So calculate accordingly as per your baby's weight. As you would be using bottles frequently, it is necessary to maintain cleanliness for proper hygiene.
