Q.

My baby is 3 months old she had cold and fever for which doctor prescribed antibiotic. After that she had mild diarrhea due to antibiotic for 3 days. But now i can see that my baby has lost some weight. Is it normal? Do i have to ho to doctor? She is breastfeeding child.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 3 months old and she is having a cold cough so she was given antibiotic which caused her loose stool so give her probiotics and ORS

A. Its Very normal for a child to lose down wait when a child is suffering with any issue even if it is minor fever when they do not eat properly it’s very normal and common for them to lose on the weight so that’s normal don’t worry about it once your child feels completely heal and hearty in terms of physical health your child is also going to resume to its original appetite so need not worry about it as of now just give more of liquid as much as you can
