Q.

my baby is 3 months old. her birth weight is 3.24 kg. and now 4.7 kg. this is my 2 nd child. I didn't have low flow of bm at my first child. but now I am facing this problem from 5 weeks to low flow because my baby pass stool once in 7 days and before 2 days passing the stool she took less bm so my flow was low for next 2,3 days. is it normal

A. dear mum it is normal for many exclusively breastfeed babies to not pass stool frequently it can even be once in 7-8 days. it does not mean that your breastmilk is less for baby more you breastfeed more will be the milk supply if baby is passing urine six to eight times in 24 hours is active alert and gaining adequate weight then feeding is sufficient
