Q.

my baby is 3 months now, she is having white spots on her forehead and eyebrows. when she was born nothing was there. is their anything to worry or this is normal. can it be a sign of vitiligo?

A. My 4 months baby is also having similar white spots on forehead, eyebrows. Can you please tell us if it is gone or still there?? what treatment is recommended for same?

A. No it shouldn't be vitiligo in my opinion as they are more of pinkish and whitish. White spots can be birth mark which become prominent after 2 to 3 months and can be seen clearly. Mostly it goes of by the end of first year or beginning of the second year. It us difficult to say what exactly it is without seeing the actual condition in real. Take your child to a pediatric dermatologist and get it checked

A. There could be multiple reasons for white spot on the skin it is possible that the baby is having some vitamin deficiency or it could also be fungal infection or some other problem it is better to visit a doctor
