A. hi, to increase weight- Give protein rich diet...as protien is building unit of our body. Like- all pulses, eggs, all milk and milk products, banana, youghrt, beans, chickpeas, tofu, nuts. These foods are important for your child’s bone growth, muscle development and stimulate body growth. As they are rich in proteins and minerals, including them in a child’s diet ensures increase in height and weight. In fact, dried fruits and nuts are the most ideal food for undernourished children to gain weight as they provide all the required micro-nutrients along with calories and fats.

A. Hello dear parent! By this age your child should be eating all the homemade foods that you daily prepare for your family. Involve your child in family meals to encourage eating healthy foods looking at others. Include all food groups in your child’s diet. Let the child be physically active as much as possible. Be patient and persistent in your efforts to feed your child.
