Q.
my baby is 2month 15days old , am giving DTUS drops for her cough.. is it ok? and pls suggest some remedies to relieve her cough

ExpertDr. Hemendra GuptaPaediatrician5 years agoA. generally a child can not expectorate so the cough syrup fo not work in a child and beside this it's not a good thing to self medicate your child so I would suggest you to consult a pediatrician

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children5 years agoA. Some home remedies u can try. You can give indirect steam bath. If Breastfeeding u can add more garlic in ur diet which will help the baby's cold or cough and will also improve lactation. If there is any nasal congestion u can use nasal drops prescribed by ur pediatrician.
