A. The speech (social) mile stone for a 2-3 years baby is 1. understanding of simple instructions, questions and directions 2. uses pronouns but mixes them up 3. Around 50 - 100 words vocabulary 4. may stutter on words or sound. You can do the following to improve the baby's speech - 1. talk often and a lot to your baby. even if the baby doesn't reply but keep talking. 2. Baby's learn a lot in presence of other baby's so do that. 3. Try to teach single words like up, down, laugh , cry etc using facial expressions or objects. 4. sing to your baby,. Songs also help a lot. 5. appreciate your baby when ebey he/she says any word. even if it's repeated. 6. most important is to not give up. 7 try phonics sound from phonics videos. baby learn them quickly.
