A. Hi. she has taken formula ever since she was born on 30th oct. Do you think I can switch to exclusive breastfeeding now ? I think my supply is also less, cannot take shatavari as I have a fissure which has gotten irritated by shatavari.

A. Hello mommy. It is not advisable to give anything other than mother’s milk to the baby till the age of six months. Formula milk can be given after the age of six months. Please take Shatavari powder with milk twice a day to increase breast milk supply. Also feed the baby often which also helps in increasing breast milk supply. Masaage your breasts gently before feeding the baby. You can also use breast pump to take out milk which also helps in production of breast milk. Thanks and take care
