Q.
my baby is 26 days old and feeling like little bit cold doctor prescribed wikoryl oral 15ml drops and amoxicillin oral suspension 100mg/ml drops for 3 times per day with respective of 0.5 ml can I give both to my baby and after giving that baby sleeping more than that normal sleeping is it ok ??? can give wikoryl oral drops???

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper gevaluation bhy the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
