Q.
my baby is 23 months and still not able to talk more than a few words. He speaks those words only when he wishes. My grandmother says he will speak before he is 3 and not to worry. Can you advise what we can do. Do we wait more or consult a doctor

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy1 month agoA. hello most baby will be able to speak sentences with two words to three words by age 2 n can also be delayed in most of the kids n encourage the child n give it more opportunity to speak

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl1 month agoA. Usually if a child doesn’t pick up by the time of 2 1/2 years on the higher side then in that case it would be good for you to connect with a speech therapist but as of now you should try and communicate more and more with your child
