my baby is 22 months still sucking the thumb how to Stop this

A. Hello good evening !! Yes thumb sucking habit in toddlers is seen often as it gives comfort ,soothe mostly seen around 1-3 years . But in long run after 3+ years thumb sucking habit cause teeth alignment issues ,jaw line . Better avoid this by engaging baby in activities with hands clapping ,giving soft toys to play and while in sleep repeatedly withdraw baby hands while thumb sucking.
