Q.

My baby is 20 month old, 2 days back he had viral fever so doctor have asked to give Meftagesic-p, 6ml, whenever he gets fever. at 8 hours interval. Meftagesic-p Composition: Paracetamol 125mg Mefenamic Acid 50mg But due to mistake of my family, he has been given Meftal-p, 7ml, whenever he had fever. At 6 hours interval Meftal-p Composition: Mefenamic Acid 100mg Now I am worried that he has been given almost double dose of mefenamic acid (2 times). Can anybody help me on this, as what will be its impact on my baby. And now what I should do?

A. My son is having fever time to time at 10 hours interval

A. sir thank you so very much, I was really worried because I read on google about the overdose, where it's written that, the overdose causes " Central Nervous System Toxicity "

A. nothing to worry it will not cause any harm but be in touch with your pediatrician and don't give for the medication of fever unless the fever is more than hundred degree fahrenheit
