Q.
My baby is 2 yrs 6 months old and she is having cough and cold for 20 days. and we have showd her to doctor but still her cough is not going. pleas help

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to weather changes around the child.
For cold you can give syp maxtra /wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2 to 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly.
Indirect steam can also be given.
For fever and pain givxe paracetamol
Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink. .
For wext coughing you can give syrup ascoril LS 5ml twice daily to the child

warm compress with ajwain potli on baby chest back..
you can use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub...
you can take homoeopathic medicine
