Q.

my baby is 2 years old. we have consulted a pediatrician to check his speech delay. he speaks very few words 2 or 3 words. doctor asked to consult an ENT . doctor said the ear drum and everything Is fine. and asked to do a BERA TEST . what's this test and how is it done? does it require any anasthesia

A. he is very active and intelligent. he plays with cooking utensils. remember everything where he had kept something days before. and smiles and laughs while playing....interact with our pets..water plants ...everything is fine ...the only problem is this speech delay

A. if your child is not having a proper interaction and if other milestones are also delete then follow the advice given by your doctor to rule out any other possibility

A. A correction : as your child is of about a year of age , anesthesia will be needed to perform bera test. apologies. 🙏🙏

A. Hi parent The said test is just to Verify his hearing capabilities. Please don't worry , it won't need anesthesia . take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered
