Q.

My baby is 2 months old, he is having constipation problem since 1 months, shown to two paediatrician, they are saying it's normal. please help. thanks

A. It is very normal that infants and newborns may not pass stool for more than 10 days also and sometimes the frequency can be around 6 to 7 times per dzay also. Both the above frequency of stool passage is normal if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid. if the consistency izs not hard then it is not constipation and intermittent crying is due to the colic pain due to gas
