Q.

My baby is 2 months old. Can I breastfeed her throughout the day and give formula once at night before putting her to sleep? The intension behind this is she is very fussy and does not sleep at night. She tries to put her fingers in her mouth and cranky. Please advise. Thank you

A. can do so you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .
