My baby is 2 months old and he is very disturbed while drinking milk. He acts as if he is in pain. why is it?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. your child is having colic which is causing such behaviour. Colic is quite common in children before 6 months of age. The usually start after 3 weeks of age. You can give drops gastica or colicaid to the child 0.5 ml if the child is crying for more than 15 to 20 minutes due to colic pain.d Limb cycling movements as well as tummy time will help. To prevent colic pain kindly do burping for 15 to 20 minutes after every feed and do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because all the gas is not removed after one burping. x

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi it happens because a child might feel discomfort in particular position , having colic or feel difficulty due to fast or low milk supply , or having ear Infection so please check it try different feeding positions keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding
