Q.

My baby is 2 month old is constipated and doctor recommended evict syrup . After two days of giving the syrup my baby passed stool so should i now stop giving the medicine or continue and if i had to continue how long should i continue?

A. Mam whenever you feel the child is having a discomfort then you can use it it’s not an issue if it is approved by the doctor second constipation for first six months is very common and normal there is no need to do anything if there is discomfort then you can insert a suppository or you can use the medicine suggested by the doctor but do not use it on a regular basis
