Q.
my baby is 2.5 months old. He is a breastfed baby. I give him formula milk once in a day. From yesterday my baby's poop has some black mucus like dots. Also he cries a lot after passing stool. please advice

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 2.5 months old now black spots in stool can either indicate stomach infection or can be due to some medicine supplements like iron supplements it's advisable to get stool investigation done

Please consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Clarify all your concerns and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Continue feeding your baby well on demand.
