my baby is 2.5 months he is doing greenish liquid potty pls suggest if any medicine or its normal

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 2.5 months old and he is having a green poop so don’t worry it’s very normal for his age and due to either formula milk or iron medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Green coloured Motions are normally seen in babies and commonly it may be due to less feed intake , or ,formula milk feeding.
if the baby is passing motion frequently in a day and the colour of the motion is ranging from light yellow to dark green or brown it may be considered as normal in such a case only frequent feeding and exclusive breastfeeding is suggested.
If it is associated with mucous, are watery and have bad smell then there could be some:g infection, also so if there are any other associated problem like fever ,vomiting then you should consult your doctor .
