Q.

my baby is 2.5 month old and I have no breastmilk. I give him formula milk whenever he demands. what quantity should I give to him every 2-3 hrs. else advice me to increase my breastmilk. feeling helpless as I am not able to feed him breastmilk.

A. Hello dear parent, if your baby is urinating 8 to 10 times after consumption of breast milk only then your milk supply is very good. Else you can give formula milk 120 ml at a tu.e. And can increase the quantity on baby's demand.

A. Hi you may give 60-90 ml formula milk for now. Also to increase milk, Try to include these foods regularly almost every day. Cooked garlic can help. Have spinach, jeera water, fennel, fenugreek, mothers horlicks is good for lactation. You can have bread with milk, rice with milk, dry fish, carrot, oats, almonds,and other nuts, the more you allow your baby to suck the more milk you can provide, you can also have lactare tablets which is very effective, boiled rice is alos effecotive.necer skip meals. Have frequent meals in smaller portions.
