My baby is 1year and 2months old. We pierced her ear last month and she is wearing a small diamond stud since then. Today one of our family friends said babies are not supposed to wear diamond studs and she said some doctor said her so. I am confused . Should I change her earrings?

A. There is no prohibition for wearing any precious stone as such. As long as the baby is fine, you need not worry. Some babies get allergic reactions to earrings, but as I said, if your baby is alright, then dont worry.
