A. I was worried too when my baby at corner of 1 year and still unable to walk.we started with two /three time leg massage in a day. also we started to practice him with a triwheeler. it gives him confidence for walking. we also started walk him with support of our hands.slowly my baby got confidence for stand and soon after walk slowly. now he is one year three months and now able to walk. you may try these things but remember one thing dnt pressurise ur baby just try to help him.he will walk its own when he will gain confidence and please dnt compare with other child.every child has its own speed in different criteria.all the best

A. how i help my baby to gain confidence to walk independently
Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years ago
A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently angyd sometimes it mhay take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
