Q.
my baby is 1month 20days old I m giving my own feed .. no formula powder.. baby taking continually feeding and Its painful so can i start formula powder ... its pr mature baby plz suggest

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician2 years agoA. apply nip care ointment avoid giving formula if the breast milk is sufficient To boost lactation take lactare tablet and galact granules add oats and meat in the diet take lots of the oral fluids maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

See a lot of times your breast feeding is not sufficient for the child which is why probably your child is taking continuous feeling so I suggest you to consult a lactation specialist ones and if they advise you then you go ahead with giving formula feeding along with your breast feeding to the child
