Q.

my baby is 19month old. he had high fever of 102° at tuesday night. 100°fever at wednesday, for 3times. then it cured. but thursday he got vomitting and could not eat anything. then we hospitalised my baby. giving saline now he is better. no fever, no vomitting and no potty. can it be covid symptom?

A. To test for COVID-19 , a health care provider uses a long swab to take a sample from the back of the nose (nasopharyngeal swab). The sample is then sent to a lab for testing. If your child is coughing up phlegm (sputum), that may be sent for testing.
