my baby is 17 months old and he is suffering from cold n cough from yesterday and today there is acute congestion in his chest due to which he is having fast breathing. kindly advice

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough exphiectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
