Q.
My baby is 16 months old and everytime i touch his chest i can feel his heart beating even when he is at rest ... is it normal ?? I am not sure previously i have been observing only off late .

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. most of the small babies while sleeping you can listen to the heart rate because the chest wall will be very thin compared to adults but if you are having any doubt you may consult a doctor

Neelam ChinnappaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hey mommy the Toddler (1-3 years) has an average heart rate between 90-150 bpm. so don't worry. however if you think there are any observations make sure you reach out to your pediatrician for a check up
