A. It is quite common for some babies to start walking a little later. Many children begin walking independently between 12 to 18 months. At 14 months, if your baby is standing with support, cruising along furniture, or trying to take steps, it's usually a good sign of healthy development. Encourage walking by offering support, letting her walk barefoot at home, and using toys that promote movement. However, if she is not standing, not bearing weight on her legs, or seems unusually weak or floppy, it’s a good idea to consult a pediatrician to rule out any developmental delays.
