Q.

My baby is 14 days old now but still won’t latch for breastfeeding ,first we have to feed him with spoon and once he is almost 80% full and he is calm only then he latches for sometime. The time for latching is not fixed sometimes it is 20-30 mins sometimes hardly 2 mins What can we do ?

A. Namaste Mom, Gradually the baby does take time gradually keep trying and also you could express some milk on to the nipple and try and make the baby lick it,

A. still not latching dear it takes time in babies to learn to latch and suck milk try comforting the baby... rub the head and back... you may use Babyhug electric breast pump to express milk and feed the baby...
