Q.
my baby is 14 days old her body temperature is 98.2 F is it normal or she is having fever?

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician7 years agoA. Its normal only Any temperature above 100 F is fever. Always measures temperature in armpits only. No need to give any fever medicine if fever is below 100 F. If asociated complaints like cough, cold, loose motion Treat that accordingly. Keep ur baby well hydrated. Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day.

s madaanMom of a 10 yr 3 m old girl7 years agoA. yes Having a hot head or hotter palms are hotter feet is nothing to be worried about and even if it is colder than body then to you need not to be worried about just make sure that you check the temperature if the temperature is between 96.5 to 97.5 you shouldn't be worried about the same for your baby If temperature is above 99 degree make sure that you do not put on some anything to cover the feet and head of the baby if it is above 100 degree make sure that you use normal water to Spanish the feet palm and head of the baby and please check with the doctor for medications if your baby's temperature is below 96 degree you need to make sure that you cover the feet of your baby and ahead of your baby try to make your baby body warm by putting on extra clothing and also rubbing on the palms and feet of the baby
