Q.
my baby is 14 days old but he is not latching my milk he refuses and cries when i try to take him to feed.im giving formula milk in bottle from day one...is that ok to continue.. pls suggest

Kanika dawarMom of 2 children4 weeks agoA. yes that’s ok but mother’s milk is always best , Even my baby used to cry alot during breastfeeding when he was 1 month old , me and my baby struggled alot i tried for 2-3 months but at the end we succeed and finally he learnt how to latch perfectly, you can consult with lactation expert, it will definitely help .

Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which can be relieved by medicine like colicaid /gastica drops. other rea drsons could be nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and more which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
