Q.

My baby is 129 days old. As she is having fever and vomiting doctor prescribed Cepodem 50 dry suspension.On the carton, it is mentioned as the solution has to be stored in refrigerator. Is it needed to store it in refrigerator or is it okay to keep it outside.

A. Thanks Much Santhoshi and Dr. Medha Patil. My doctor has recommended 3.5 my mor and night. Is this medicine has any side affects. is it not recommended for 4 months old baby??

A. It's a dry suspension which needs to be reconstituted with the given diluent . It has to be stored in refrigerator post reconstitution, as it goes bad if kept at room temperature. The colour changes to yellow/ yellowish tinge if it it not kept in refrigerator indicating that it has been spoilt and should not be given to the baby.

A. Hii..hello goodmorning .. it's it required to store.. but still As baby is small with regards to medication, It's better to check with your doctor and follow his advise. That would be the best and safest option.
