Ayushi ChaudharyMom of a 3 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. hello fellow parent
I know we are curious and anxious about our child.
According to WHO and doctors one can start solids from 4th month, but their are certain rules to it-
baby should be double the weight of their birth weight
feels hungry even after the feed
If you notice the above mentioned rules with your child, then you can start solids, but strictly follow fruit/vegetable puree just once a day that too during day time and don't switch fruit/vegetable every day, use same kind of fruit/vegetable for 4-7 days then switch.
Don't start giving daal ka paani and other stuff.
don't add sugar and salt
don't give khichdi and stuff
read properly on the WHO site.
I am saying all this as I have done enough research and even I have got it from my hospital booklet stating the rules and what to start.
