Q.

My baby is 11 months she has coughing by doctor prescription i have given brodil LS drop 1 ml thrice daily but it doesn't work then doctor prescribed Ascoril LS Syrup 4 ml thrice daily.. i want to know that will i give to my 4 ml thrice daily this at this stage? is there any side effects of given Ascoril syrup? only expert reply

A. all have side effects. but benefit will be more if given as prescribed . better to consult with your doctor for examination and treatment for the same. avoid self or suggested medications it can be dangerous and may have deleterious side effects. always follow up with your doctor in person ft

A. actually every medicine is given according to the weight of the child so as your baby is 11 months old in this age this ascoril LS which contains levosalbutamol should be given 0.5 MG three times a day you accordingly your doctor has prescribed the medicines to do not worry
