Q.

my baby is 10 months two days cough&cold.i give in piriton cs syrup but not result plz help

A. b j avoid cold climate, cold winds. give plenty of feeds , adequate rest to the baby. indirect steam , hot water bath will also help. consult your paediatrician if baby is feeding less, excessively drowsy or if cold increases. post illness babies might be cranky , irritable. nose block congestion also result in loss of appetite, difficult sucking. try different head up feeding position. feed by spoon otherwise. Maintain hygiene. if bottle feeding, maintain sterility as its a common source of infections.

A. Hi, My lo is also 10 months and her Pediatrician also gave same syrup and Sinarest AF drops for her cold and cough. It would take some time to cure for babies and it took 9 days for my baby to get cured. so don't worry just continue the medicine in prescribed dose and give steam inhalation to baby. Take care

A. hi actually coughing takes a bit of time to get cured so it takes a little time along with medication at home give steam inhalation and warm water to drink as well as mustard oil add garlic warm it rub to chest and back of baby
