my baby is 10 months old suffering from fever from last 7 days doctor suggested blood test .and the report says high wbc count it's around 16900. please let me what are the causes of it and what are the risk of it

A. infections Consultation with doctor personally , is required because examination of the baby is necessary to arrive on a conclusive diagnosis and prescribe accordingly. Maintain adequate hygiene to prevent risk of infection and stay safe
