Q.

My baby is 1 yr 11 months old..he slipped and fall backwards hitting tile floor. He cried which got him with few episodes of vomiting..its been two days since that incident.He was quite active and normal for these two days.Again yesterday night he started to cry which led him to vomiting again..Is this because of head blow orelse he got scared of anything?

A. it is important to see that the child is not having any visible injury. also if there is any visible injury you should visit the doctor. it is important to observe the child for 24 hours to 48 hours for any complications related to injury. you can give paracetamol to the child for pain as well as for any swelling cwhich develops. you can apply warm compresses over any swelling. if you feel that the child is having some abnormal behaviour after the injury you should visit the doctor immediately
