Q.
My baby is 1 years old, and she has 8 kg weight. Is it ok. And please mention the diet chart for 1 years baby.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist5 years agoA. dear mum, weight of 8 kg is ok for 1 year old child. baby should triple the birth weight by one year. give all family foods to your child the way you prepare in your house according to the regional food preferences. give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups Grains Pulses , powdered nuts Egg and Nonveg especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables which are found to be lacking in infant diet. about 400-500 mL of milk but instead of giving only as milk which reduces the appetite for other food use milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and give as milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. give top food five or more times a day and up to one katori every time. breastfeed baby till 2 years.

Nandita BaranwalMom of 2 children5 years agoA. Hi, Weight is ok dear. Start giving cow's milk and nuts and honey now. Some babies tend to have lower side weight if they are extremely active so don't worry. Offer meal 3-5 times and in between give milk. Offer dal roti, dal rice, suji kheer, khichadi Daliya etc
