Q.
My baby is 1 year old..I'm giving goat milk..is it ok? and how much liter milk is sufficient for baby in 24 hrs apart from food? second he is taking milk when he use to sleep only..Is is good or bad?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. yes it can be done. Containing some fruits and green leafy vegetable with a proper balance of cereals and pulses . Some good protein sources like egg or soya bean or paneer should also be given . Protein powder like pediasure after 2 yr only .

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Milk is very important for babies specially in the initial days of life breast milk is very important and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age .
formula milk should be given only as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 .
after one year cows milk should bhe started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be used only after the completion of two years of age .
