my baby is 1 year and her weight is only 7 kg what should i do

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist5 years agoA. dear mum, weight of 7 kg is fine for 1 year old baby girl. baby should triple the birth weight by one year. for good weight and health, child should be having a balanced diet having all the food groups. now you should be giving all the foods that you consume in the family. give food frequently 4 to 5 times a day, more than One Katori per meal and 2 healthy snacks in between. childs daily diet other than cereals should have: good protein like pulses, beans, eggs, soya , milk and Milk products, chicken variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables and green leafy vegetables. Nuts like almond, Walnuts, dry fruits. add ghee on top of food to provide energy. avoid fruit juices and thin soup as they fill up the stomach and provide less nutrition.
