My baby is 1 year 3 months....previous 8 days back he had cold and caugh....my doctor suggested me motocef antibiotic and winkast-L, Alerid cipla syrup....but from 2 days he s having fever in night times and it's 100 and 102 deg F...m giving ibuferon syrup....and it gets cured with in 15 min...and suddenly he s get active....my doubt is y fever is coming like dis is der any problem....

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a  viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to redduce the dcfever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
