Q.

my baby is 1 year 20days old.. Day before yesterday he had his vaccination. But the thing is, from yesterday evening he is having fever.... after giving medicine it returns after 4-5 hours.. what should I do??? Is there anything to worry??

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usuallyx subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
