Q.

My baby is 1 year 2 months old! Her weight is 6.6 kg. I have consulted a paediatrician who says that her vitamin d is extremely low , and give her as much as you can to eat. But she refuses to eat after a certain point of time. How can I increase her appetite? Are there any supplements I can give? I am currently giving vitamin d drops and calcium drops.

A. Hello dear parent! There are couple of medication for increasing child’s appetite. Please consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Give your child a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated all through the day. Let the child be physically active as much as possible. Good luck and take care.
