Q.
my baby is 1 year 1 month old. doctor gave this syrup for his cold. doctor suggested me to give for 5fays but after 2 days he having red rashes all over his body. when i consulted my doctor again he said its a viral rash not due to syrup. so he told me to discontinue allercet. i read in online that this should not given children under 2 years. why doctor gave this to 1year old baby?

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and if your doctor has prescribed this syrup after evaluation then no need to worry nd if you are not satisfied then consult with another doctor in person.
