Q.

my baby is 1 month old. sometimes he sleeps for longer hours during day and does not have milk even I try to wake him up. should I let him sleep and wait for him to demand for milk?

A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk accordindg to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermdittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

A. you have to offer feed after two hrs try comforting the baby as rub the baby head back as feeding baby will sleep around 16-18hrs this is common in new born take care
