Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age.
intermittent crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation.
so this is normal
Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Exclusively breastfeed babies sometimes do not pass stools even for a week. It is normal as long as your baby is healthy and active. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your doctor for advice
