Q.
My baby is 1 month old. He is on exclusive breastfeeding. Can I give him cow/buffalo milk, incase I have less milk ?

ExpertSHRUTI KANCHANLactation Educator and Counselor2 years agoA. Breastfeeding simply works on demand and supply. Unless you have some hormonal imbalance issue which also can be tackled with medication. Dairy milk is not advisable until baby turns 1 year old. Alternatives to breastmilk are donor milk or formula milk. If you feel you have a low supply please do meet a lactation consultant

NikithaMom of a 11 yr old boy2 years agoA. hello if the breast milk is not sufficient then you will have to be giving your baby infant formula milk stage 1sing a bpa free bottle like babyhug but do not give cows milk buffalo milk or any animal till the baby complete one year as baby cannot digested
